Direct and administer with the COO the operational aspects of the business, including involvement with all departments.
Develop surveys, evaluations, performance measurements, and reporting systems by which formal operating policies, procedures and internal development efforts can be structured to ensure attainment and sustained progress in achieving corporate objectives.
Analyze operating results with the COO of the business and its units versus approved plans and objectives. Take adequate steps to correct shortfalls in performance.
Assist COO in the development of corporate strategies and strategic objectives and operating policies.
Ensure all plans and policies are understood and administered by the management team. Use strategic objectives as basis for establishing performance measures and incentive programs for personnel.
Establish recruiting, training and development programs, performance management and reward systems to attain the highest level of productivity for long-range success; systems to include provisions to meet all government laws and regulations.
Establish and maintains effective systems of communications with employees.
Ensure all critical systems are properly maintained, serviced, and updated to ensure reasonable stability and reliability.
Ensure adequate security and protection of company assets, both material and intellectual property.
Review and ensure all external agreements and internal documentation are consistent and accurate.
Work with COO to review and ensure same is legally binding to protect the Company against frivolous or costly litigation.
